Start a multipart upload

Start uploading a large file, up to 5 GiB, in parts.

Path params

Description

Takes no body. Answers 201 with an upload_id, or 200 with exists: true when the blob is already stored. Then send each part with PUT .../uploads/{upload_id}/parts/{n} (1 to 10,000; 5 MiB to 100 MiB except the last) and finish with POST .../uploads/{upload_id}/complete and the list of parts: the service checks the whole file's SHA-256 and size before keeping it.
